There are definitely negatives to it. You become suspicious of everyone and everything. You become suspicious of every narrative, everything you see and hear in the news, the things people say. Everyone is their own representative and has their own agenda. And that becomes a bit of a hindrance. Coming from an intelligence background, it’s all about forging relationships. And sometimes that translates into the real world. You tend to automatically show people what you want them to see about who you are. You are able to make friends with anyone. It becomes this automatic scenario.
